You can look out but they cant see in, like a two way mirror haha. This curtain completes my bathroom and I am very pleased. I must agree with everyone else though about the smell when you first get it.

As the other reviewer said it’s like a whole box of sharpies and he/she wasnt kidding!! For that reason I give a few less stars.
