Reviews for Man with Knife Shower Curtain with Sound (Toy) The novelty aspect and design of the image on this shower curtain makes this a fun item but it is made of old-school vinyl (non-EVA) so it gives off very strong fumes. I washed it, with no effect other than to erase bits of the image off the curtain (not enough to destroy the effect for seasonal use). So, I put it outside for a couple of weeks to air out because the entire house was affected by the smell when kept indoors.
